meetro (“the app”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
What we collect
No accounts, no advertising, no analytics or tracking SDKs. The app developer does not collect or store your personal data.
Location
If you grant permission, your device location is used only to show the stations nearest you and to centre the map on where you are. It is processed on your device and is not sent to us or stored. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in system settings.
Search
When you search for a place, your query is sent to OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service to find matching locations, subject to the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
Network requests to third parties
The app loads live transit data via a relay service and map tiles from CARTO / OpenStreetMap. As with any internet request, these providers may receive your IP address and standard request metadata under their own policies. The relay service does not associate requests with your identity or store personal data.
Children
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
